On May 20th, the 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair Dafeng Oil Painting Village Sub-venue officially opened at the Dafeng Art Museum. In his speech, Huang Chaoruo, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Buji Subdistrict, reviewed the 22-year development history of Dafen alongside the China International Cultural Industries Fair (CICIF). He stated that since becoming the only sub-venue of the first CICIF in 2004, Dafen Oil Painting Village has, with its solid artistic foundation and vigorous industrial vitality, successively been recognized as one of the first "National Cultural Industry Demonstration Bases" and as a collaborative unit for arts and cultural exchange in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, growing into the nationally and internationally renowned "No.1 Oil Painting Village in China."

Currently, Dafen is using digital technology as an engine to promote the iterative upgrading of the traditional oil painting industry. This sub-venue focuses on launching two major platforms: the "OOHART International Art Trading Platform" and "ARTDAFEN," concentrating on showcasing the innovative applications of AIGC technology in areas such as art creation, cultural and creative development, and copyright protection. At the same time, a series of activities including original exhibitions, cultural industry matchmaking meetings, art auctions, and industry live streaming are being held, allowing traditional oil painting art to gain new vitality in the digital intelligence era.

Huang Chaoruo stated that Dafen will adhere to 'unchanging heritage, alignment with the times, and digital empowerment,' continue to promote the construction of key projects such as the International Art and Creative Industry Park and art hotels, and continuously enhance the 'World Oil Painting, China Dafen' brand, using art to empower urban development and illuminate the lives of citizens.
