On November 7, the “Qicai Bay Area · Rongchuang Future—Greater Bay Area Artists’ Lacquer Painting Exhibition” kicked off at the Dafen Art Museum. As an important event showcasing the achievements of lacquer painting art in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, this exhibition centers on traditional lacquer art while incorporating innovative expressions, attracting guests, artists, and art enthusiasts from all walks of life to gather on site for this grand event that combines cultural depth with artistic beauty.

He focused on the inheritance and development of lacquer painting art in the Bay Area, shared his thoughts on the contemporary value of traditional lacquer art, and explained the important significance of this exhibition in promoting regional lacquer painting art exchanges.

Liang Jian, Vice Chairman of the Shenzhen Artists Association, read out the congratulatory letter from the Guangdong Artists Association. The letter fully affirmed the significance of this exhibition, reflected the provincial association's care and support for lacquer painting creators in the Greater Bay Area, and expressed earnest expectations for the development of regional lacquer painting art.

Artist representative Ye Guocai took the stage to share his creative insights, combining his own practice to discuss the integration of traditional techniques and modern aesthetics, as well as the exploration of Bay Area culture in lacquer painting creation, conveying the contemporary lacquer painters' dedication to art and spirit of innovation.
