As an art museum born in an art park, it has always been an important responsibility of Dafen Art Museum to pay attention to local art groups and art ecology, and to carry and express the connotation of local culture.
Just like the spontaneous formation of Dafen Oil Painting Village, the artists gathered here grow naturally, and they also have the unique quality and vitality of diversity and inclusiveness. They communicate and learn here, iterate spontaneously in exploration, and constantly have new achievements, new developments and creations. In today's highly developed informatization and in Shenzhen, a city of reform and opening up, Dafen's local artists not only look at themselves, but also pay attention to the present and the future, pay attention to multiple creative propositions such as ecology and environment, and they feel, think, and express in creative practice, and transform them into visual language presentation, condensing the artistic picture with local characteristics, so that more citizens have a multi-dimensional understanding of art, and become a long-term force to stimulate the vitality of urban culture.
