preface
"Inheritance",derived from the"Zhuangzi Health Master",implies the passing of skills and spirit from generation to generation.
In this era of gold, art is not only the nourishment of the soul and spirit, but also an important carrier of cultural innovation and skill inheritance. The painting vocational skills competition is not only a contest of skills, but also a cultural inheritance and innovation. It is like a bridge, connecting the past and the future,so that every participant can feel the charm of art and the glory of the profession. At the beginning of its establishment, with the strong support of the Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Shenzhen Painting Vocational Skills Competition settled in Dafen, and has been successfully held for 12 sessions since 2013.This competition not only witnessed the vigorous development of Shenzhen's cultural and artistic undertakings, but also continuously excavated and cultivated batches of outstanding painting talents. At the same time, it promotes the optimization and upgrading of the art industry in Dafen Oil Painting Village, and injects a steady stream of vitality into Shenzhen's cultural and art market. In this context,Dafen Art Museum specially curates the"Inheritance - Shenzhen Painting Vocational Skills Competition Achievement Exhibition",which implies the integration of tradition and modernity, and the inheritance of skills and innovation.
The works in this exhibition are selected from the creations of the winners of the previous Shenzhen Painting Vocational Skills Competition63works are displayed in a centralized manner. The works on display have distinct themes, diverse styles and unique techniques, and show a positive spirit of loving life, pursuing art,and being positive as a whole. This exhibition adheres to the orientation of academic guidance and talent discovery, and hopes that all participants will further improve their artistic creation level by building a platform for communication and interaction. We believe that through this exhibition,we can stimulate more people's love and yearning for the art of painting, promote the in-depth integration of art education and vocational skills training, and contribute to the cultivation of more high-quality artistic talents with innovative spirit and practical ability. With the continuous growth and development of the competition and culture and art,I believe that more outstanding artists will join this team.
"Legacy"is not only the title of an exhibition, but also a responsibility and mission.Let us go hand in hand and continue to explore and move forward on the road of art.
