His oil paintings participated in the 7th,8th,9th,10th,11th,12th and 14th National Art Exhibitions and won two awards and one nomination.Won the Phoenix Award of"Chinese Sketch Oil Painting Exhibition".He has participated in many national oil painting academic exhibitions.Judge of the 12th and 13th National Art Exhibition Oil Painting.He has held solo exhibitions at the Changliu Art Museum in Taiwan,Chifeng Museum,Phoenix Art Museum in Wuxi,Art Museum of China Oil Painting Academy,Xiamen Art Museum,Dalian Art Museum,Weihai Peninsula Art Museum,Hongyushi Art Museum(Suzhou),and the Academy of Arts of the Russian Federation in Moscow(Zurabtseyreteli Art Museum).He has published a number of albums such as"Wind Vane"Complete Works of Contemporary Artists-Zhang Liping.

Reflections and practices on freehand oil painting
This lecture will systematically sort out the creative system of freehand oil painting,analyze its techniques through the works,and show how to creatively integrate the freehand spirit of Chinese ink painting with the material characteristics of Western oil painting.As a member of the Oil Painting Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association and a professor at the School of Art of Xiamen University,Zhang Liping will combine his teaching and creative experience to discuss the cultural value and development path of freehand oil painting in the contemporary context.This lecture is not only an academic reflection on the localization of oil painting,but also a platform for in-depth dialogue between artists and the public.
This lecture will systematically examine the creative framework of pictorial oil painting,analyze technical execution through case studies,and demonstrate innovative approaches to integrating the aesthetic philosophy of Chinese ink painting with the material properties of Western oil painting.As a member of the Oil Painting Art Committee at the China Artists Association and Professor at the School of Art,Xiamen University,Zhang Liping will explore the cultural significance and developmental trajectories of pictorial oil painting in contemporary contexts,drawing on his dual expertise in artistic pedagogy and creative practice.This event serves not only as an academic inquiry into the localization of oil painting methodologies,but also as an interdisciplinary platform fostering substantive discourse between artists and the public.
